Can someone share that stat last year of the games that Iowa was down something like at least 10 points in how road consecutive road games? Or was it every BIG game?

I think of him as Matt Thomas from Iowa State. If Matt Thomas is playing in NBA, then Joe W will get there as well.

I've actually always said the opposite but whatever. He'll be at least a 3 year player here, likely 4.

Except that Matt Thomas played for 4 years then went over to Spain and played a couple of seasons. In addition, Thomas shot lights out for the Lakers in the summer league two years ago and still had to go overseas to get a chance.
Well they’ll probably win more with a bunch of closet Hawk players.
Tonight was very disappointing. He just doesn’t have the “It” factor. He cannot create his own shot and that’s going to be a huge problem for this team. Who do you go to when they need a big basket?
Getting blitzed 19-2 with the deer in the headlights look from every player on the court is unacceptable. Yes DePaul was hot but Iowa couldn't mount any comeback the entire game. Typically hot shooters come back to earth and the other team has a run or two of their own. When the 3's stopped falling, DePaul got easy buckets off turnovers or dribble penetration resulting in layups. Iowa was back to keystone cops on offense--falling down, making the most obvious passes with defenders overplaying lanes and spinning into double teams.
I think most of us can accept a competitive loss, but getting blown out with no answer is an indictment of all the things this program hasn't been under Fran. You don't win at this level without some Cook-type athletes. It was men vs. boys and this was DePaul who has been rebuilding for 20 years. Paul Reed looked like Willis Reed and he had offers from DePaul, Murray State and K-State.

Only three athletic departments in the country in women's hoops, mens hoops, and football won an NCAA tourney or bowl game last year(hint one of them was Iowa) and we are a joke??? Geez. Reality check
I disagree, he just had a bad game. There are going to be growing pains as he becomes the go to guy. But to say he doesn't have the "it" factor is a complete overreaction. There is plenty of evidence from last year that says otherwise

One loss and instead of showing support for our team and players they cry like babies and want to fire the coaches and complain about players. I cant imagine being so mentally unstable to turn so quickly on everyone associated with the team. One of our best young players after one loss and your wanting to throw him under the bus ....pathetic to say the least. Just like the football team ... 3 losses by a total of 14 point by 3 teams that were all ranked ahead of us and you would think we were beaten by 3 unranked teams by 28 points each.......thank god the knot heads that actually believe what they are posting are not making decisions for the rest of us!

Wieskamp and Stanley (mentioning him because he's the scapegoat pretty much always) have been nothing but class since they got on campus. They represent this University exceptionally well and we'll miss them when they're gone. If you saw Stanley's post game presser after the Wisconsin game you'd understand that these guys take the losses harder than anyone.
