Why should anyone be surprised? Fran has been a head coach for how many years? How many times has he taken teams to the NCAA? Zero. Yes, ZERO Sweet 16’s. Last year he had the national player of the year and choked. This year he has a NPOY candidate, along with a highly favorable draw…..and choked yet again.

Thanks Fran. Iowa is once again a laughingstock under you in tournament play.

But….I‘m sure the bootlickers will be along soon to tell us Fran is the best coach we can possibly get at Iowa, and to expect even one Sweet 16 in 23 years is ridiculous.
