We're winning tomorrow..

Great question. Had to look it up. And not sure if this was already a discussion elsewhere but ... they beat Wisconsin, at Camp Randall, in November of 2013. All other road wins have basically been against Rutgers, Indiana and the like. Dang.

If I were a PSU fan, I'd be like ...

This is an important stat and one people aren't really talking about. Franklin has been there since 2014, so you could argue this would be his biggest road win as a Penn State coach. He has proved very little on the road in 3 years.

They kicked Iowa's ass last year. I just don't understand the over-confidence of some of our fans just because the game is in Iowa City.

Yeah, I am going to scream my head off for a win but they were way better than us last year and look better this year. I know they haven't really played anybody but our defense hasn't looked great for a game and a half.

This is pretty much a no-brainer. At the beginning of the season we saw filet on the menu but so far all the Big Ten West has served up is lunch meat. Iowa only scored 18 on Wyoming a team Nebraska beat bad last year and Oregon trounced this year. They barely beat Iowa State a cellar dweller in the big 12 and North Texas a team that had a 1 and 2 win scenario a couple of years ago. With the exception of Wis., the BIG West sucks. If Iowa beats Penn St. an Purdue beats Michigan I'll retract but, until then I'll keep stacking lunch meat in hopes of creating a filet.

Its still an interesting fact. Some teams are totally different at home vs on the road. We'll find out in a few hours if this just trivia, or if it has meaning with this years team. Honestly the pressure is ALL on PSU. Their supposed to win the east, and the BIG, and maybe get in the CFP. We're just lowly Iowa, their supposed to crush us.

Every Saturday is a new day. Look at last year. Got our ass kicked by PSU, next week we are 18 pt dogs to Michigan. You never know how the game will play out. I say Hawkeyes by 3!

I'm chalking it up to optimistic enthusiasm. I think most fans are pretty aware that Penn St is an excellent team and that Iowa will need to play their best just to have a chance. I hope Iowa wins, but I won't be crushed if we lose.
