And my answer is Dark Star... because it never ends, its always just out there

Been a Pink Floyd Saturday for me as I get stuff caught up before playoff football starts.

Just happen to be listening to this right now (full album). I have five 70's era stereo rigs in my humble "sound room" and living room - haven't run them all in awhile...so they're ALL running currently.

The whole house is jamming to "Breathe" currently...Life Is Good.

Whole house? Hopefully whole neighborhood now as well!

I have a small collection of gear that's taken me 40 or so years to collect - yet way too much for the size of my home. Then as the 90's and 00's went by, the gear became "out of style" I guess, so I found a lot more cheap and began culling the herd, slowly getting better and better stuff for what I kept.

It all works. So, I put together a room with shelving, making a sort of in-home old fashioned stereo store wall of gear. The problem is with this old analog gear is if you don't use it, it will degrade. Pots get scratchy, capacitors fail/dry out, etc...so weekends at home, it all gets a workout.

Listening to "Division Bell" at the moment. Pretty loud in here even though none of the 5 rigs is pushing out more than a watt or two!
