What a great call by Brian after the interception

Yes it was. Give him some credit. Him and Petras won this game, keeping the ball out of Minny's hands. Watching them gut this defense on the same play was awful. Imagine if they even had a threat to throw!

Honestly apart from the 3rd first down after 2 rushing first downs in a row predictable PA pass that leads to a 10 yard sack everytime and the inevitable jet sweep or reverse that goes negative in the red zone he doesn’t call plays that bad. Hate coach talk, but if the line and Spencer executed a bit more….he would look a lot better.

It was a great call, and one of the rare times SP stood in there and made a great throw just prior to taking a hit to execute the play to perfection. BF and SP have driven me nuts all season, but I certainly give credit where credit is due.

There is that.

IF our offensive line was a "normal Kirk Ferentz line" we would have at least two more wins, maybe three and the BF hate would be much less.

Agreed. The OL is the root problem. Spencer looks solid at times.

We have the bad combo of a poor OL, and a QB who is very poor at creating things out of nothing. Kind of the anti-Drew Tate.
