What are the Democrats doing to stop this chaos?

Van Hollen keeps sending out 10,000 word emails about why he can't do anything

It's useless if law isn't going to be followed, it's going to need to come from the courts where Trump picked up right where he left off 4 years ago.........losing

I heard Wes Moore on the radio this morning dumbfounded after meeting with Trump yesterday......apparently he went off the deep end on conspiracy theories for an hour and left Moore wondering wtf he listened to

Democratic Leaders Stand Real Still In Hopes No One Notices Them

WASHINGTON—With the elected officials trying their hardest not to move a muscle, reports confirmed Monday that top Democratic leaders in Congress were standing real still in hopes that the American people wouldn’t notice them. “Don’t make any sudden movements, or they’ll spot us,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said out of the corner of his mouth, tightly squeezing his eyes shut as he reminded Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to hold their breath anytime a member of the voting public walked by. “Did it work? I think we’re in the clear for now, but that was a close one. They could have talked to us, for crying out loud, or worse—demanded that we do something. Unless we put our hands up in front of our faces and crouch down behind our briefcases, some of these voters may realize we’ve been standing here all along.” At press time, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) had reportedly been dragged into a conversation with a constituent after the otherwise motionless lawmaker forgot to silence her phone.

I really think you should ask the question "What are the American people going to do to stop this chaos, madness, constitution trashing?" Every Dem in the US House voted against this budget proposal and remember it is a proposal and did not include all the line items and details. The Repubs needed to show something so they passed a proposal.

The Dems in the US House are trying to legally get a few more Repub reps to vote against this crazy tax cut budget bill.

But, the American people voted these clown asshole Repubs into the majority. And NOW it is up to the American people to put tons of presssure on these people. And they are doing it by yelling and screaming at the Repubs at town halls. It got so bad that the Repub Congress said no more town halls. WHAT A BUNCH OF LAME ASS CHICKENS.

So get out there and yell and scream. We were at REp Zach Nunn's office last week with many reasons for him to not vote for another tax cut.

But the Dems are not in the majority so people pressure will need to outweigh Orange Dumpster pressure on reps.

Agree 100% but congressional Dems (and others) have to find a voice who speaks to the people - and it ain’t Schumer. Hell, they’d be better off putting AOC front and center over him.

You lost, we won!! Trump and company are doing EXACTLY what they told us they would do if ELECTED. Why is that so hard for your two celled wet brain to understand?? Don’t you believe in democracy anymore, Tootsie? 🤡

Rep Murphy , I think it is Chris Murphy, is being noted and noticed for being able to more calmly tell people the story of what the REpubs are doing to steal them blind compared to the help Repubs give to the wealthy.

Sen Sanders doing the traveling wilbury tour is good if he can get a ground swell of dissent against Orange and his gang.

Democrats (not the one's that post on here) need to drop certain outlandish positions on issues and reach across the aisle to Republicans who don't want to be associated with Trump.

It's pretty simple.

Oh look, another person blaming Democrats for Republicans being stupid.

The Republican you talk about doesn't exist. They got run out of the party over a decade ago. Democrats have proven time and time again they are willing to deal, even the ones that hold "outlandish positions" (but letting a President cut Congress out of governing isn't outlandish? And literally every Republican in a position of leadership (and the vast majority of Republicans in general) have been ok with that).

You need to give up on Republicans completely if you ever hope to see sanity return to government. It won't happen by demanding Democrats be more accommodating to the anti-freedom and liberty views Republicans are showing.

I am one they ran off. But don’t try and make current Dems the bastion of family.

I’m pretty equal in critical comments on both ends.

If Dems could reach out we wouldn’t be in this dumb mess.

The main difference between main Dems and Trumpsters is one will steal you blind and the other just steals. They do what they do for personal gain.

Put me next to a one month old all day long v kids 1 and older.
Had this happen to me back in 2019 when I was flying from LGA to DTW. Lady next to me had an infant. Damn thing kept swinging it's arms around and hit me like 500 times during the flight. I was hungover as hell and couldn't even get a nap in/csb

But I will say, it wasn't crying at all. Just hitting me like Mike Tyson with a speed bag.

LOL. There are only spineless assholes on the right side. All those who didn't want to be associatied with trump were ousted by the maganazis. There is literally, and I do mean literally, no one to reach to.

What percentage of that is allowance for obligatory interest payments on past debt?

Do you still not get the problem we face?

JFC. What difference does it make? Adding to the debt is OK since there is current obligation.

Man, you MAGAs are freaking out of your minds.

Don't raise revenues. Cut revenues when finances are short and huge monies are available and increasing. Real fcvking smart boneheads.
Gazillions of trillions of dollars left offshore, uncollected over the decades, which a capable, active IRS could have taxed.

You are why we don’t have nice things.
Please list those Republicans that don't want to be associated with Trump.

TIA
you misread what you are responding to.

JFC. You're simply displaying ignorance or lack of awareness. Republicans are adamant to not allow legislation. There is a bloc (Freedom Caucus) within to caucus against movement within committees. The Republican party has been totally dysfunctional since Disanto, and the Freedom Caucus (formerly Tea Party) entered the picture with the agenda to prevent legislation.

The House is a comedy of amateur fools. Consider the House could operate because Democrats cooperated to elect the Speaker so the budget ceiling could be extended.

Again another responder not responding correctly.

Bullshit...you said Dems should reach across the aisle to those Republicans that don't want to be associated with Trump and I asked you to name those Republicans.
Now...you're unable to list any.
Care to name them now????

It appears you want to backtrack or simply lie your way out of this convo?
