I'm leaning towards a STIHL MS-362 C-M with a 20" blade. Anybody use one?

It's mostly for Farm use/firewood. I do have some big Oak and Hackberry's to take down this year. (Also those lovely Hedge and Locust trees to play with)

My father-in-law has a MS-250 18". A little undersized for my liking but he swears by it. He is also 67 and 5' 7"
I'm 40 & 6'

Im open to Husqvarna or others aswell.
Suggestions? Thanks

I’ve got a greenworks pro 80v 18in that I use around the farm and I absolutely love it. As good or better than most gas powered saws I’ve used.

My understanding is that size doesn't matter. It is a solid 6 inches though.

I bought a 18 inch Poulan Pro six years ago. The things chews and I’ve had zero issues.

My main saw is a 20" PP. I'm still burning wood from the derecho trees I had to cut up. IIRC it's more or less a Husqvarna.

Granted, I had to put an Oregon bar on it after and eventually a new clutch too (I fully admit I caused these to occur, didn't really know what I was doing until too late) - but it runs like a champ (about 10 years old now IIRC) and as long as I keep the chains sharp it does what I need it to perfectly fine at a fraction of a "pro" saw price.

I have the ego. I live in the middle of a suburb and do not have an acreage. We do have some trees and that I need to contend with on a rare occasion after a storm. So, I wanted something I could use after it just sits there for 5 years in between uses. works just fine for those purposes. If I was on a farm and had to use one regularly I’d go with gas powered.

I bought an Echo cs400 a few years ago and it's a pretty decent saw. My first saw was a John Deere 50V that I bought in the early 80s. It was a good saw, but heavy.

Gonna be honest… was expecting a pic of several scantily clad women holding chainsaws.
