is Baer running all over the court, giving every last ounce of effort trying to make something happen while 4 other guys jog around and maybe give a bit of effort if the ball comes near them. A 50 point loss with everyone leaving it on the court would have been easier to swallow. I am grateful that we are relevant again, something just isn't right with this team.

I agree that kid and Wagner seem to give a little more effort than the rest of our team. If Baer and gain 10 lbs of muscle in the next 6 months he can be a really interesting player for us.

Non-scholarship redshirt freshman --Baer was probably Iowa's best player today....at least in terms of effort and mental toughness. Almost seems like the seniors checked-out down the stretch.

After seeing comments on the news about woodys tip in....I'd have to agree. Mike basically said "cool, his success is my success" and the other said "oh he was just in the right place/right time" I think it was clemmons, but can't remember. After seeing their responses I couldn't help but wonder what was really going on behind the scenes.

I'd agree. Pretty sad with 4 seniors and a Jr starting :(

As a cyclone fan, I'd love to have Baer. That kid is tough and brings the effort every game.
