For example, Jordan's may be the shot to beat Northwestern. What is Luka's?

I don’t know that Luka had memorable “it” plays. It’s probably harder for big men, but I think his career was more just consistent production

It has to be rebounding.......... rebounding from the threat of 9 1/2 pound cyst attached to his spleen! That's the size of a large newborn baby LOL. Thank god that mass was benign.
Luka was just so damn consistent and efficient we probably have under appreciated him even with all his accolades. There was maybe three times he was " held in check" and those always involved the rest of the team struggling at the same time and the opponent being able to " violate " him even by B1G standards.
He should not waste his time with the NBA and go overseas and be a big time star over there for 10yrs or so until he's had enough of getting beat up.

If the NBA doesn't take a flyer on him in the first round there should be an investigation. He's gone up against many future NBA players his whole time at Iowa and has dominated almost all of them.
Does he have limitations, absolutely, but he's overcame so much by sheer hustle and determination. He'll succeed if given the chance, he has at every level.
It's hard to believe his career at Iowa is over, we've all been blessed with witnessing something we may never see again in our lifetime.
All I can say is thanks Luka. for giving us the enjoyment of watching you play for the last 4 years. You will be missed!

Waste his time with the NBA? What the hell?

Despite ISU being awful, scoring like 15 points in a row to shut the door on them was great.
Luka had so many great games, but this one was the most memorable to me, not only for what he did, but who he did it to. When it began, we were up by thirteen, 68-55. When he was done, we were ahead 89-64. It included 5 three point shots, a two point jumper and a couple of lay ups. Simply incredible shooting and I think it even surprised Luka a bit. It even shut up Moo U fans for a few hours.

Good question OP. I don't recall him making an official "game winner", but he created wins for the Hawks almost every time down the floor.

The 44 against Mich, even though it was a loss, was the "wow" game of his career IMO. I think that was the game when we realized he was something very special.

Was amazed with the stat that he is the ONLY BIG player in history to record totals over 2300 points and 900 rebounds! Just shows the biggest scorers in the league are usually guards or wings. Its certainly easier to double down on a post player, which made what he did the last two seasons all the more remarkable.

Geez, what does he have left to take home, Wooden Award Player of the Year and Wooden Award First Team All-American....the only thing he didn't do this year, was sell ice cream on the concourse at Carver and there was no need for him to do that because of Covid. I think he's won everything a player at his position can win this year. Pretty selfish of him don't you think....only kidding!

The thing will always remember about Luka was when he spoke after being knocked out of the NCAA Tourney and said, with tears in his eyes, "I gave it everything I had." Yes you did, Luka. You always did.

For me it was when he go stitched up in the Texas Teck game, came back and dominated, that highly ranked team at the time. He got a lot of national recognition after that for his toughness and work ethic. That game seemed to catapult his status as one of the best.
