One of the biggest changes: Working from home became the new normal.
Between 2005 and 2017 there was a 159% increase in remote work. It is
now a fact that 83% of U.S. workplaces now offer flexible options or plan
to introduce them. The Covid pandemic has merely added to this trend.

Another big change is our shopping habits. Since 2005 Amazon Prime has
offered shoppers the opportunity to do all their shopping in the comfort
of their home through the internet. No hassle with traffic at the malls or
lack of clerks on duty. The promise of fast delivery with your order is a plus.

What do you think are the biggest changes besides working at home and
shopping at home?

I dunno why you picked 2005 as a year but I think of the hurricanes in New Orleans when i think of the mid 2000's and also Bush was prez. And I think maybe Drew Tate or something. That's about all I got.

The Presidential elections of 2016 and 2020 gave us
aging and lackluster candidates from both political
parties. The lack of dynamic leadership is not helpful
to American citizens who deserve better.

But one led directly to the other

The need to take offense and engage in performative victimhood rather than confront the issue/matter in a mature way and seek resolution.

I’m sure this stuff happened before 2005 but it’s just off-the-charts now.
