What is the 'Philadelphi corridor' and why is it a sticking point in Israel-Hamas talks?

Netanyahu has a slim path forward. Gaza War has stalled. Reservist refusing to deploy. Hardliners that he has embraced want zero compromise. Total Hamas demise regardless of hostages or Military fatigue. Which I get, but you can when a war, but lose the country.
Possibility of War on 3 to 4 fronts. Hamas, Hezzbollah, Iran, and domestically
between religious hardliners and more secular citizens.

The best path forward that I’ve seen is to work a deal with Hamas for hostages. Rest your Military focus on Hezzbollah and Iran.
Then wait for a more opportune time and roll back into Gaza and take all those areas you want. But all of that might not be political feasible with Netanyahu’s base.
