I understand the system is pretty messed up. It favors the minority party (republicans,) you can’t even argue that.

However all of the people who are complaining about the recent events and say their vote doesn’t matter, need to stfu.

We have these problems because people refuse to believe their vote doesn’t matter. Republican legislators are just doing what they are elected to do. If you don’t like the outcome, vote for the Democrats.

The root of the problem is the people who elect these officials, and those who refuse to believe their vote doesn’t matter, those who claim it’s “both sides” causing all the problems.

Y’all need to wake tfu.

America is a democracy which means the political party
with a majority of votes wins elections. On the city level
citizens elect mayors, on the state level they elect governors,
on the national level they elect representatives, senators,
and presidents. Yes, every vote counts and we live with the
results.

A democracy works best when qualified candidates who have
the best interests of the citizens in mind run for office.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.

It’s actually a deficient democracy. Look to the top of the list for true democracies.

I did vote for Democrats, they are in charge, and aren't doing to do anything about Roe.

Youre agreeing with my point. We delivered both houses and the presidency to Dems and they will do nothing to counter the biggest set back of rights in 50 years.
Nope you are obtuse it takes ALL of them. 2 refuse so you can go after them and not the Dems. If you want to go after a group it's the GQP NOT the Dems for the issues. Focus on expanding the majority.

If they have the Senate majority after November they can make Roe the law of the land and he will reevaluate the SCOTUS situation if if they do have a filibuster proof majority.
Dems had a few months of filibuster proof in 2009, and prior to that it was the 70s. They need to plan for less than 60 votes in the Senate and they won't. You think McConnell will bat an eye at dumping the filibuster in 2025 for national abortion ban? Again, Dems have the authority now, just refuse to use it.

Lol. Once again Supreme leader Manchin refuses. Period. Add 3 more seats those 2 are irrelevant

Does it ever bother you that conservatives have figured out that if they give lots of money (bribe) to their lackeys, then their lackeys will continue to vote to cut the taxes of the wealthy?

Seems to be working pretty good for them

It used to be illegal to bribe politicians but then the conservatives on the Supreme Court made it legal

Well this thread has certainly turned into an idiots' circle jerk.

Well, you did respond pretty early with “rap music”. Thanks for starting the circle.

By the way, how is your son doing? The one that was getting harassed by the cops for not paying his drug dealer or whatever victim story it was you told back when?
