What is the score if Indiana was playing in Iowa City tonight?

I don’t know who wins, but I am thoroughly convinced Indiana wins the fake ID award of college football for 2024.
Their win over Michigan looks better after Mich beat OSU, but the rest of the wins were against .500 teams and below.

If they played the Hawks tonight at Kinnick, would like to think the Hawks could find a way between KJ2 and the defense, but it's a moot point.

The playoffs should have been limited to 8 teams. More is not always better. If you're ranked #9 you have no business playing for a national title, anyway in college football. No need for a bye for teams. Set them up and put them on the field...3 games and you have a national title. I think the championship will be decided in the next round. Oregon and Ohio State are the best two teams. As long as the OSU coaches don't outthink themselves again, I'm picking them to win it all.

I think if Iowa ever makes a playoff, it will look a lot like this.
I think any fourth place Big Ten team that makes the playoffs will look similar to this. The conference has always been top heavy. Once you get down to fourth place with an unbalanced schedule, it's likely to be a team that's decent, but played a schedule with only one of the top three teams on it. I was hoping Notre Dame fell into the same realm since their schedule was just as easy.

12 teams is too many. They fixed a broken system by implementing a broken system.
All about $$$$$. In the end no perfect model.

That being said I like 12. Makes games more interesting in Nov. gives programs like ours a chance some years. Opens up for an upset or underdog storyline where higher seeds wins a game or 2 and makes semis. I agree in the end semis most likely be similar if they only had 4 teams like old model but gives us more football to watch. Normally this weekend would be a nfl game, bad bowl matchups and maybe get lucky with college bball or 2 of interest (like Iowa Utah for Hawk fans). Instead we got 3 games spread out and a good night game with OSU Tenn.

You may be right, but SMU still has a case to make. A lot of good teams would lose by 10 points at Notre Dame, especially after giving up a freak 98 yd TD. ND is a legit national title contender.
Based on recent history vs ranked opponents, I predict Indiana 31-2 (a special teams safety).

What was the Hoosier best win?
Well I can't speak for everyone here, but that humiliating 56-7 beat down of 5-1 Nebraska to start their 1-5 season ending slide was my favorite. Their fans were getting pretty chirpy leading up to that one.
