What matchups would you want to see?

With Flo, Wrestling Underground, and now Rokfin/NLWC giving us some much needed entertainment, it got me to thinking about what matchups people would like to see happen...

Pick from current college wrestlers or post grad. It can be college weights, Olympic weights or a catch weight. Freestyle, folkstyle, or hybrid. Your choice.


I would go:
Spencer vs Fix freestyle 57kgs
Taylor/Cox freestyle catchweight
Cenzo/Bull folkstyle 165
Imar/Kemerer folk catchweight
Hall/Zahid free 79kg
Clark/Gilman folk catchweight
Taylor/Bo folkstyle catchweight

I’m pretty meh on most of yours. I’d watch Imar-Kem
I wanna see Spencer vs some foreign competition.
Give me Desanto-Rivera folk style.
I also think a Kem-Cenzo match would be cool
I’d love to see Tom vs John W. I’m willing to bet they both can still go

Some top level talent internationally. My personal opinion is he is better than everyone domestically. I don’t think he gets challenged by Gilman or Fix although closer with Gilman than fix.

That would have been a good one.

I think that we have seen Dake vs Burroughs, DT vs J'Den, and even multiple J'Den vs Snyders back in the day...although it would be great to see an update of both of them which we will see soon I imagine.

But for pure drama, backstory etc...Lee vs Gilman is the one to watch. Gilman has announced that he will be in Coralville. Hopefully, Lee will be in as well.

Cox vs Snyder. Lee vs Gilman. Dake vs Burroughs. Taylor vs Bo. Gable vs Paris or Cassar. Hall vs Nolf. Zahid vs. Downey. Riveria vs Zain vs Yainni. To many to list. For hs last years number one match up but injuries got in the way Ferrari vs Amos.

Desanto - Gilman would be fun to watch. I would bet it would get a little chippy

I’d bet none of these graduates care to wrestle much folk. I wouldn’t blame them considering most have likely not trained much in those positions since graduation. That said I’d watch any of these matches in freestyle. I’ll take more offense over a rising time point any day.
