Acting Field Office Director Robert L. Cerna of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations .... told the court that if the deportees lack a criminal record, “that is because they have only been in the United States for a short period of time.”

He went on to say: “The lack of criminal record does not indicate they pose a limited threat. In fact, based upon their association with TdA, the lack of specific information about each individual actually highlights the risk they pose. It demonstrates that they are terrorists with regard to whom we lack a complete profile.”

Illegal immigrants should be deported just because they are here illegally. An additional crime isn't a legal requirement. Due process is the only requirement. The additional crime factor is merely a talking point trying to rationalize and justify not deporting people. Since it will take some time to deport everyone that should be deported, the emphasis is on deporting criminals first. That doesn't mean those without criminal records should be ignored,

These men are being sent to prisons in countries they didn't come from with no charges and no due process. As an American, that should terrify you. This is not how the good guys behave.

To be clear we are imprisoning people indefinitely without due process. We aren't just deporting people.

If we really believe that criminality is an important factor, then why aren't we cracking down on industries that are hiring this criminal labor? Until they address the employers with stiff fines and jail times, you're going to have a hard time convincing me that they are trying to solve a problem rather than giving their MAGA base someone to punch down on.

At lease one person was deported who was legally in America, with a verified asylum claim, because he was tortured in his home country.

Homeland Security kidnapped him off the street and sent him out of the country without any due process.

The fact that MAGA is fine with that is disturbing.

I have no issue with deporting people who are here illegally.

But when we start taking actions without due process, we become no better than a third world shithole.

Embarrassing for the United States.

I heard there is bipartisan support to deport Chuck Schumer.

Minority Report was a documentary from the future...

They committed a crime. They should be deported.

If they voluntarily leave and go through the legal process, they should be considered for reentry.
What crime did they commit? That's the question as there was no due process, just the gestapice raid. Remember that when they come for you.

Stop pretending like you care about law and order. You voted for a felon that immediately pardoned a bunch of other felons. This is only about racism and xenophobia.

In principle, I agree.

It’s just not practical or feasible.

The focus needs to be on securing the border and deporting criminals. Those who are already here working hard, contributing positively to society, and paying taxes should be grandfathered in and given a reasonable pathway to citizenship.

Secure the border. Deport criminals. If they are violent criminals, execute them.
