Probably take all the guns away from republicans. Then lock them all up. Maybe in camps somewhere. They'll have to give up all their camo and thin blue line clothing and change to a prison uniform that is a Gaza flag. Trucks with punisher stickers, tattered flags, and hitch balls must be surrendered at entry. Neck bears will be shaved. Then give them the option to turn gay or get gender reassignment surgery. Forced sporting activities on Fridays will be against the opposite sex.

I would wait until after the election and if Harris wins you prep the national guard for quick activation at any point until Jan 20th and Harris can stand it down if everything goes well.
I might even consider activating it on Jan 6th and having it on hand to guard the capitol.
