So far we know that former Boise St commit QB Zachary Wilson is not visiting Iowa and is most likely BYU bound. Multiple people affiliated with Iowa sports and recruiting have tweeted out that they will have quotes and a story on the "newest commit" after he makes it official. The second one being Spencer Petras

I think that is the most logical conclusion. Pretty nice pickup on Iowa's part if true. Always good to get one talented QB in every class.

We've had at least one QB in the KF era with better hs stats than that. It's all about continued growth, hopefully kok will play a good role there...

Maybe because he was what seemed to be a firm commit to OSU. Besides what appeared to be a firm commit, his mother was for OSU, at least until now.

Welcome Mr. Petras, IMHO, I'm confident there are many programs wish they had him.

No big deal or need to question his earlier position. Conversely, Brandon Scherff played QB in high school and is now a pro O-line man.

Yes, USC as an example, does not have a QB in this years class (yet) but did have a 4 Star from San Clemente last year.
And...In the last two years their WR haul is STAGGERING: One 5 Star and Six 4 Star WR's. Amazing.
