Here are the updated stats for the Iowa Hawkeyes through four games in the 2024 season and how they rank nationally.

We need WRs starting that can get the best separation. I'm not sold on #7, #8 or #15 quite yet when they are in there.

I agree with your take on Washington. At least at this point he's not ready for primetime. But Vanderzee has shown he can get open and has shown great hands. I've focused on him a few times and, for a true freshman, his ability to get open is as good as I've seen from an Iowa freshman in years.
I am sure was mentioned in a number of threads during game, but I don't recall TJ Hall seeing the field against Gophers and #1 was out of the game in a number of scenarios on defense also.
Send more flowers or whatever is working with the Big 10 scheduling office. Maybe let them use the KF jet. Spend the week appeasing them, nothing more really.

#8 came around to the left for the block but ended up getting decleated himself. Got in 20’s way just enough though to allow for the TD
No the announcers got it completely wrong.

Two things we need to do much better if we have any hope in 2 weeks.
First and most obvious....improve the run game, dramatically. Only way we even compete with OSU on their turf is if we somehow rush for 500+

The effect is what was needed though. It disrupted the defender just long enough.
Yeah why did Trev want to keep your team locked with Iowa. Nebraska is like a dingle berry we can't get rid of.
