What's in a name?

Iowa's recruiting has improved, but they will not get to the next level until they improve on getting guys with more unique names. Forget these star ratings, we need guys with names like Greedy Williams, Ben Burr-Kirven, Laviska Shenault, or a Tua Tagovailoa. Names like Nate, Jake, Noah, AJ, TJ, etc... are so 90's and are not equipped to take on guys with names like Mechane Slade (Memphis), Quayvon Skanes (UConn), Jaquarius Bargnare (UCF) or Thakarius Keyes.

Also, the better the names, the better the chances of Podalak botching pronouncing them, which is always entertaining to me. With all the great running back names out there, we get a 'Tyler' and we may get a 'Larry', and our number one WR prospect is named 'David'. You can't win championships with these names, I'm tellin ya!

I'd take about 100 more like him too.
