For the first time in 30 years I'm not going to nationals, but watching them from home. Will still have the usual crew coming over to watch it in my theater room.

I enjoyed watching the conference championship on B1G+.

What's the best app to watch nattys on?

I would invite you, but I already have a full living room. Sign up for one month of ESPN+. It will allow you multiple feeds, so if you have more than one smart TV or Roku boxes, you can pick your mat(s) and watch multiple Hawks at once.
I have my 65" and four 40-43" TVs. The big one I watch ESPN or ESPNU depending on the session. Three of the others I switch to the mat(s) the Hawks are on. The fourth one I hook to a laptop and keep the Trackwrestling dashboard up for mat assignments. Then I Bluetooth IHeart radio to my surround sound system and listen to KXIC. It gets a little frustrating sometimes when all the feeds are out of sync and you know what's happening before you see (or sometimes hear) it.
I've done some version of this for three or four NCAAs and two or three B1Gs now. It's not as great as being there, but a lot cheaper. I've never missed an Iowa match with this system.

Thanks for the feedback! My theater room seats 12. I was going to get more TVs, but failed to do so. Trackwrestling sounds very valuable with those mat assignments.

This sounds a whole hell of a lot better than me watching the little green and red icons on the Trackwrestling dashboard and checking this forum on the Thursday and Friday morning sessions at work on my laptop!

Its the busiest 3 days of the year in my household. 6 TVs and a projector. 3-4 on basketball the others on wrestling. Its a challenge tracking the mats but that's what my nephew is for. Feels like Thursday and Friday are a blur. One because I'm hosting 15-20 people at a time and another is the Coors light keg and fireball shots flowing.

Two of the TVs were Black Friday deals. Three of them get boxed back up until next year and the fourth one goes back in my Hawkeye Room. It is my mancave, but my wife won't let me call it that.
And don’t forget Grace & Ironside on KXIC (or iHeart if you’re out of the local area).
That's part of my system, but as I said, the lack of synchronization can be distracting.

If you click on the box that says no longer available, it takes you to the picture of my set-up this year. At least it works for me.

Some previous years in the comments.

I've tried doing the TrackWrestling thing on one of my TV's in the past. What is annoying is that the one popup is constantly coming up saying that it's not refreshing data. Is there anyway around that? I have an account, so, it isn't that. It just pops up from non-activity.

I have a similar setup as you. I have an 85" and (5) 50" TV's in the main room, and a 50" in the back behind the bar. I let the guys vote on if they want to listen to Byers (PSU's Ironside) and have it out of sync or listen to the TV announcers. I think Trent Hidlay (local kid) is announcing on ESPNU this year, so, that will probably be what we listen to on the surround sound. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive. I can't wait!

You can watch multi screen. When you see a Hawk coming up - switch to that single mat only. Note the time line for returning to where you left off.

I just moved out of the area this year and iHeart hasn't worked for me. Not sure if that is the case for everyone. That said, you can always tune into the streams of Grace and Ironside on the Hawkeye Radio Network YouTube channel. The streams for each session are already queued up at the link below (along with the other upcoming Iowa sporting events). On the same channel, you can also see most recent wrestling events.

Edit, if the link doesn't work, just go to youtube and search for @IowaHawkeyesOfficial. Once you get to the "Iowa Hawkeyes" page, click the "Live" menu item and it will show live and upcoming streams.

I do it for every match. Pause whichever one is ahead of the other. It usually takes two or three pauses but you'll figure it out pretty quickly.
Thanks! I was thinking the vid would just go back to, “live,” after the restart.

I believe you can only do this with an Apple TV Box now, but it allows multi-screen on ESPN+ so I have two of them. I have all 8 mats going at all times, with my small TV for the basketball...

Nice setup! FireTV has quad-box, but, I don't think I can assign mats. I think it puts 4 mats up. I could be wrong, and I hope you are right. We did the quad box last year, but, I don't remember how it worked.

I'm pretty sure I've had an option for the quad-box before during NCAAs, but I could be thinking of B1Gs. I usually have one of mine in that mode. Saturday morning, we'll have the women's game on the big TV and all three mats on the other.

Did the link above (a ways above now) work for anyone to see my system? It works on my desktop, but not my phone, so I was wondering if it worked for other people. If not, achawk, how did you post a personal picture on here? This system of posting has baffled me for years. Nice setup BTW.

I'm pretty sure they have an option if streaming from a computer to create your own quad box by selecting 4 mats. I would usually just have two windows open with four mats each being displayed on two separate screens to get all eight mats.

IIRC, the iowa wrestling twitter feed has been decent about posting a link to the ESPN+ when they share that a wrestler is on deck, so if you are on a phone or computer you can just open that link in a new window. No guarantees they do that this year, of course

Some of you all are HARDCORE!!!! I tip my hat to you!!! Several screens, multiple inputs
etc..... WAY above my p[ay grade.

I did sign up for ESPN+ so I am hoping to catch ever HAWK match!!!

The Apple TV device is I believe the only one that can do 4 feeds at once on ESPN+. That's how I've generally done it, two TVs w/two Apple TVs, 4 mats on each.

However, I think starting last year ESPN+ provided a feed that shows 8 mats at once which is a little easier on the ole bandwidth.
