What's with all you people wearing YETI hats?

I think they're pretty sweet

I need to get out more. This is not the dumb shit I see when Mrs. Herk lets me out of the house. But I do love dumb asses.

It's why I spend $100 a year to be on HROT. :D Just to be with my people. :)

Yeti is the status symbol for Rednecks. What a gimmick. They're right up there next to the bottled water companies for proving how dumb the American consumer is. Suddenly, two years ago, everyone needed to spend $400 to keep ice good in their garage for 9 days.

I laughed, but there are times where the Yeti cooler or its equivalent is pretty great to have. I don't have one, the whole poor thing and all but I get cooler envy when I have water and my brother has ice. Now the Yeti tumblers a bit of a joke imo as I plan on drinking my ice water today, not tomorrow afternoon.

See...I'm the opposite...I think the tumblers are more worth it than the coolers but I guess it's what you use. I keep a cup of Unsweet with me all day.

But the wife got me one of these Rtic Tumblers and they're so good I got one for all of my coaches at the banquet. Half the price of Yeti and they tested them and they keep ice for like 4 minutes less. I put 6 cubes in it in the morning and there is ice when I dump it out before bed.

the yeti cooler craze started here in Austin or dripping springs or somewhere around here, now we have a yeti flagship store and bar downtown

It's cool ice will last days in one but I don't need that. A cooler that keeps ice for a day is plenty good enough. I can buy a lot of bags of ice for $300.

I guess my Bic logo hat isn't so bad.

Yeti coolers are both awesome and overpriced.

Yes agreed...and they also convinced people of a necessity that doesn't exist. When Yetis first came out it was the wives who wanted them more than the men.

And but wives I mean the superficial bitches. Everyone has someone in mind right now. They just had to show everyone that they had the best cooler...even though they couldn't carry the heavy ass thing themselves, nor ever had the need for one before they learned of one that could possibly make someone else jealous.

So pretty much like Apple.

I was given a Yeti cooler two years ago as a gift and I haven't used it once.
