I saw a post on the Cedar Rapids subreddit a couple weeks ago about a "Hunter Light" fbook account. The guy basically just posts homophobic and pro-trump memes and tries to claim that everyone in Cedar Rapids is a pedophile, and everyone in Cedar Rapids and Marion are working as a gigantic pedophile ring. The Marion police run a child trafficking ring and fly kids out of the Marion airport. It's an open account, and quite the crazy rabbit hole to go down. Basically anyone that posts something disagreeing with him, then gets "looked into" and then he claims they're a pedophile. It's very very Qanon-esque.

Oh yeah Hunter Light is an easy rabbit hole to get sucked down into. Although one of the guys they busted recently is or was the co-owner of Stewart Baxter Funeral Homes.
Women’s gymnastics, especially underage girls should be allowed to wear pants instead of the leotard. It would cut down on the pervert factor.
I was actually disappointed at how many mutual friends I had with the account. The homophobic stuff that he posts is just crazy. I shouldn't be shocked that some folks still think like that, but it's still surprising sometimes.
And I don't doubt at all that there's some folks he posts about that are actual predators. But after that quadruple homicide in Linn County a few weeks ago, he made posts about how it was some pedophile ring or something, and I don't know. I just can't take that shit seriously.

I have thought to myself of few times that it seems like a hear about pedophilia was more in recent years. Looks like it really took a bump around 2020 when there was a lot of Biden hair sniffing, Wayfair trafficking kids with overpriced furniture purchases and of course pizzagate.

There's a few different things he references. No clue what oddpath is. The "bebo" one is apparently some old social media thing that popped up back in the days of myspace, and apparently you can still find email accounts associated with it. Not sure why, but apparently having an old bebo account meant you are a pedo too.

47-year-old Michael Lehman, who deputies say lived at Ced-Rel Motel, is charged with first-degree murder. He's being held in the Linn County Correctional Facility on a $1 million bond, which includes the bond for violating his parole.
The Iowa Sex Offender Registry lists him as a sex offender - with two incidents in 2009 in Clayton County and Johnson County.
The criminal complaint says this stabbing incident was premedidated.
Randy McCraney, Lehman's next door neighbor, said it only took one word for his next door neighbor to transform the quiet motel residence into a chaotic crime scene Monday morning.
"Michael was mad at him over an argument over something that went on between those two," McCraney said.
McCraney said both exchanged some fighting words.
Sheriff Brian Gardner with the Linn County Sheriff's Office said Lint was living with his brother, who is also listed on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry.
"Mr. Lehman had been registered there at that residence since July of this year," Gardner said.
More than 20 sex offenders are registered as living at Ced-Rel Motel. McCraney is also on the list.
"It is a safe place," McCraney said. "There's nothing wrong with this place. It's just the people that come here. It's got me shaken up a lot. I like the young man. He's cool. He's nice. He's harmless."

I am sure there is some truth to things she said at the meeting, but my past dealings with her with my local business makes it hard for me to believe everything she was saying. I know my business will no longer do any business with her based on her previous actions. I would not be surprised if there are many other people and businesses in town who have no interest doing any business with her.
