I think Herk could be a good friend...probably Trad as well. I like natch but he might entice me to swing his way and that wouldn't fly but I could still drink a beer with him. Of all the loyal opposition people I, for whatever reason, think I could have a balonie and pig's ear samich with joel bee cee...and of course I have always liked the neurologist guy. I wouldn't mind attending a Cub's game with IACub if he would buy the brats and beer...

Whoa, that's a difficult road to travel. I have met many forum friends and it's shocking how different people are from what you believed them to be based on their internet identities.

Anyone you can mention from Warchant...Trad?

Totally agree. People on Warchant think I'm the biggest douche alive but I'm a very friendly, like able and nice guy.

Most would be shocked at what a sweetheart I really am...politics makes a man crazy.
 
i can be friends with anyone that drinks and likes to have fun. i dont care if you are a R or a D and for the most part i really dont know how most of my friends vote. the reason i dont know how my friends vote is that i dont care how they vote, they have their opinions and i have mine,that doesnt mean we cant be friends.

I think IMCC is probably a pretty good guy as well. Ciggy is probably the most knowledgeable man around here when it comes to local news; I'm a news junkie too.

I would venture to guess in real life many of our views get a bit muted and there may be a regression to the mean in a manner of speaking.

I've had the pleasure of meeting many of the HROT (DSM Boyz Inc) guys and think I could probably hang out with most of them.
 
I'm afraid I'll miss some good guys, but for sure Jake, Trad, Natch, Moral, Joel, Noelsoup, Swag, OIT, GBR_Atlanta, Ragle, HawkFan59, WWJD, Huey, and the greatest one liner of all time, 22*43*51. I know I've missed some people.

Makers Mark and Budweiser...although never together. I will tell you who I have been missing lately...DanL. I can tell by his posts he is a good man but I haven't seen him in some time...hope he is ok.
 
There are a lot of good guys on here. And I never forget the old cliche about religion and politics. Is does bring out the passion which causes lines to get crossed on occasion.

Why don't you come visit me someday? Usually can find me mornings at Polk County Jail, Drunk Tank. Pick me up and we can across the street to Prairie Meadows. I'll let you buy. If I'm just hungry, across the street is Bass Pro...they have good breakfasts. Again, I'll let you buy. o_O

DanL is a good guy but I think this stuff gets to him. He is a roller coaster of emotions when it comes to these boards. You should catch him some time over at HNO, very emotional.

There's like 8 or 9 guys from here I've met at tailgates in IC and here in Madison. All were good folks. I'd imagine even the seemingly biggest of ass clowns and trolls on here are decent dudes in person.

Snark aside, I'd chill in the bleachers at Wrigley with most of you. Or, at a Kernels game for that matter. I'd be more than happy to let LC cook me dinner while I played with his RC planes in the front yard. And, I am probably the only person who showed up at Red's in North Liberty to have a beer with IMCC, but we planned it poorly and I didn't know what he looked like. Didn't figure out until later that he was probably the dude out front talking to some guy about his motorcycle.
