When Purdue went to Wisconsin and lost by just 8 pts, I was like, "Ut, Oh"

Purdue is way ahead of schedule in their rebuilding year. They went to Wisconsin and gave them a hell of a game, unlike Iowa, of course. Congrats to them.

At the same time, I am with all of you that it is unacceptable to lose at home on Senior Day to Purdue.

Look at this picture (courtesy of the Gazette) with 5:32 to go in the game. It looked the same along the 50 yd lines on TV.

They say a picture says a thousand words.

i’m sure there will be some hard feelings by our Seniors. That was not how they wanted to end their careers at Kinnick.

Our young OL just couldn’t get it going.

This team wasn’t really that far away from being 10-1 right now.

As a PU fan, we're as surprised by the resurgence of the defense as much as anybody. With Brohm coming in, we all expected offensive fireworks and 50 points a game, but the biggest change has been on the defensive side where PU went from giving up 42 pts/conf game in '16 to only 18pts/game in '17.
I also heard a stat that over the last 5 games, the D hasn't given up more than 2 offensive TDs in a game.
