Good breakdown from Intermat - Article (click here)

Iowa:
3. Thomas Gilman (Iowa) -- No. 10 in Class of 2012
1. Cory Clark (Iowa) -- No. 15 in Class of 2012
3. Brandon Sorensen (Iowa) -- No. 62 in Class of 2013
3. Michael Kemerer (Iowa) -- No. 11 in Class of 2015
4. Sam Brooks (Iowa) -- No. 14 in Class of 2012

Some surprising rankings...like top 2 at 125 were both ranked higher than 50...but no doubt, top 20 type kids are successful

PSU:
1. Zain Retherford (Penn State) -- No. 3 in Class of 2013
1. Jason Nolf (Penn State) -- No. 7 in Class of 2014
1. Vincenzo Joseph (Penn State) -- No. 7 in Class of 2015
1. Mark Hall (Penn State) -- No. 1 in Class of 2016
1. Bo Nickal (Penn State) -- No. 5 in Class of 2014
5. Nick Nevills (Penn State) -- No. 4 in Class of 2014

No excuses for Brands, but based on regional talent base PSU is easier to recruit than Iowa, especially with Gable #2 Cael.

If Nevills, Nickal & Nolf were the #4, #5 & #7 recruits in 2014, who were 1, 2 & 3?

Chance Marsteller ?
Kyle Snyder ?
Who else ?

Who was #6?

Here's flo's from that year...only rankings they have up from that year.
The Peppleman kid was ranked #1 at 165 for VA but he's the only #1 I saw outside the top 12 team rankings.

I did the math (on my fingers of course) and let's group it all together according to D1CW:

Sure it can...but it can also make no difference. We have a team full of McCutcheons if we were to avg it out in terms of ranking. They have a team full of Bo's...their only UR guy is at 133 only because their starter got injured. Cutch would be their lowest ranked guy at #32

125-Suriano-2
133-Carpenter-100, Cortez-12
141-Guilbon-3
149-Retherford-3
157-Nolf-4
165-Cenzo-5
174-Hall-1
184-Bo-7
197-Cutch-32
HWY-Nevills-5

=16.2 Ranking (w/Carp) 7.4 (W/Cortez)

125-Gilman-16
133-Clark-23
141-Carton-100
149-Sorensen-27
157-Kemerer-8
165-Gunther-100
174-Meyer-41
184-Brooks-20
197-Wilcke-86
HWY-Holloway-79 Stoll-14

=50 Ranking (W/Holloway) 43.5 (W/Stoll)

I assigned a value of 100 to unranked guys.

Somebody asked me that they won matches on Saturday where they were the clear underdog...I didn't see Cenzo or Bo winning but I wasn't shocked as Cenzo was getting closer to IMar with each match. IMar was gassed by the second. Perhaps the biggest adjustment I saw was with Hall...He stopped shooting on the elite guys and stuck to his counteroffense and out of this world defense. Yes...he should have got more stalls called on him but if the ref is going to give it, why not take it. Not shooting on the bigger guys kept him from getting underneath and tired out which is what happened against Meyer and Bojo.

If I had to bet the finals: I would have only lost with Cenzo. I thought Hall and Bojo were pretty even as evidenced by the B1G.
