Which Purdue will show up on Saturday?

Honestly, I don’t even think Purdue could repeat that performance they had against OSU; not even close. It really was the perfect storm and everything went right for them and snowballed for the Buckeyes. Very similar to the Iowa OSU game last year.

One thing my buddy pointed out was in the OSU/PU game how undisciplined OSU was on defense. I mean their LBs were no where to be found all night.

I think Iowa will keep PU contained, but can Iowa’s offense do anything against PU defense?? Also OSU attempted 70+ passes. You have to control the ball vs PU and keep their offense off the field especially the Moore kid.

We absolutely have to be able run the ball in this game and limit Purdon't possessions. We need to be the Bullies of the B1G in this game. Ohio State lost to the Boilers because they became one dimensional

Purdue certainly was consistent last Saturday against Michigan State and an MSU QB who was making his first start. I'll give 'em that.

But as others have suggested, it doesn't matter which Purdue shows up. What does matter is whether Iowa can stop beating itself. Change ONE play in both the Wisconsin and PSU games and Iowa is 8-0 and cruising to Indy and a shot at the CFP. But I guess these Hawkeyes don't wanna do it the easy way.

Consistent is an interesting choice of words. Blough threw three INTs and they rushed for 62 yards.

I was thinking how well their morning walk through goes ;)

I am 100% of the belief we win this game and we do it confidently. I think we bounce back after the PSU missed opportunity and we put a fork in Purdue ... Just a gut feeling ... this Iowa team will be focused and ready to play.

This is tricky. I have a feeling that good Purdue shows up at home coming off a tough road loss. As an Iowa fan though, I dont care if we lose because we got beat that day. I care when we lose because we gave it away and didnt make the easy plays like WIS and PSU. If we come out and well and happen to get beat, then so be it.

Both Purdue and Iowa have been pretty good all year. Purdue basically had bonehead personal foul penalties that cost them the game against Northwestern and Eastern Michigan, and to some extent Missouri. Iowa on a down to down basis played well in the losses to Wisconsin and Penn State. Turn it over twice on punts to Wisky and a brutal day by the Iowa QB end up in a loss to Penn State.

I see Saturday all down to the Iowa offense. Purdue will score points and move the ball on Iowa's defense, but the D will give them some fits and cause enough problems that if Iowa gets 27-30 points it's a likely win. Can Iowa do that? I really have no idea.

Every Big Ten game they have won this year has implications for the west...
Well that's cute and all but to make it to the BTCG they're going to actually need to win games against teams other than Minn, Indiana, and Maryland. Emphasis on major in my last post.

Well didn't those games have major West implications? If they lost those games they don't have a chance at this point. I know what you are trying to say though.
