I would choose the 2002 Invasion of Iraq because it was completely stupid.

World War 1 would have really sucked. It was also pointless and running around in a trench would have been brutal.

I'm not sure what we accomplished in WWI. I'm not sure what we accomplished in Iraq long term. We killed Sadaam and his kids I guess.

Was WW1 as brutal for Americans as it was for the European powers? I was under the impression that the worst happened early on when commanders were using tactics from the 1800s against machine guns, resulting in massive casualties.
