The White House on Monday claimed that illegal immigrants are not just "walking" across the southern border -- a statement that contradicts footage captured at the border daily that shows migrants walking across the border and into the United States.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was pressed by Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy about why migrants are allowed to illegally enter the U.S. without being vaccinated for COVID-19 but an unvaccinated foreign national traveling on a plane cannot.

That’s why I hate both democrats and republicans, politics in general.

Both are wrong - 1/6/21 can’t be defended by republicans and the continuous line of illegals coming into this country is being treated as a nothing burger by democrats.

Stop defending the indefensible on both sides and call out something that is wrong regardless of your political affiliation.

Fox doing what fox does - take things out of context to outrage the deplorables.

Yes people walk across the border. No, most aren't allowed to just go on their way with a wave. They are apprehended and processed. Some manage to cross undetected - just like they have been as long as we've been a nation.
But we only care about the southern border because brown people are scary....when they aren't mowing our laws and making us tacos.

There have been attempts at bi-partisan immigration and border security since, well, forever, but since about 2005 the far right has destroyed anyone in the GOP that tried to offer anything that allows more brown people into the country legally. In 2017 Trump inexplicably turned down $20 billion for his vanity wall lest he be labeled soft on immigration.
This country needs more workers. We need a better funded, smarter border. It won’t happen until the GOP compromises. And, with climate change and political insecurity on the rise to our south the issue will get worse.

This. Democrats have tried and tried to reach any kind of immigration reform that would deal with the problem of illegal immigration, but Republicans will not agree to anything that would deal with the problem in a rational way, but instead use if for fearmongering their gullible base.
