Who’s next to commit for the Hawkeyes?

If Goodson chooses the Hawks, it wouldn't surprise me to not see anyone else commit until after the season. He would be number 14 and I would expect the coaches to be pretty selective at who they accept a commitment from after that.

Deuce and Goodson seem to be committing soon. Then Fox? Then a big lull? Could depend on if Henrich visits as soon as the dead period ends. That would be big if he did.

Actually, it may be refreshing to receive our first 2020 recruit verbal, ahead of number 14 for 2019.

The news and vibe for 2018 appears mainly positive heading into camp this Fall ....

Hopefully, this is an outstanding season for the Hawkeyes and College Football, in 2018.

40 years ago, it was rare to see much in the forward pass game.

20 years ago, Iowa threw plenty of forward passes, but at times, there didn't appear to be much sense of purpose.

Today, to Kirk Ferentz, his staff and players, sense of purpose appears to be high.

Yes, there are fans or people, who have opinions like the recent DI opinion piece targeting Kirk Ferentz and 7-5, but unlike 1978 or 1998, Iowa should field a competitive team in 2018.

Hopefully, it is a team, like 2009, 2015 or higher, from the standpoint of being lead by a junior QB and the opportunities it should bring ahead.

Brock said Iowa didn't walk away. He has an offer he told Rivals. However, it can't be executed due to someone else. Brock appears to have learned well from his relationship early with Iowa. It also may have influenced him to be prudent?

Iowa appears to be sticking to their plan.
