Who’s your favorite character from The Great Escape?

Watched this the other day for the umpteenth time, this time with my youngest. Been awhile since I’ve seen it start to finish and it holds up as good as ever. Who’s your favorite character? I’m guessing this is probably a two-person race.

Helluva movie. Probably go with McQueen. Mostly because of the ball and glove scene.

Great cast. Trivia-Donald Pleasence actually was shot down during the war.

"On 31 August 1944, his Lancaster NE112 was shot down during an attack on Agenville,[9][10] and he was captured and imprisoned in the German prisoner-of-war camp Stalag Luft I. Pleasence produced and acted in many plays for the entertainment of his fellow captives." WIKI

Enjoy all of 'em. Lotsa great great actors, with no scene stealing IMO. They all fit as they were cast.
