Who do you know that's had the most marriages and divorces?

I just heard from a guy that I used to know casually. He's probably 60 years old. He just got divorced after a few years. It was his 10th wife. I honestly don't know what the deal is. This guy is not rich or anything and he seems like a nice guy, but he must be a sociopath or something. It's just so strange for him to be married so many times and not be Larry King.

In the last decade, I estimate he's been married 3 times.

Anyone know someone that can compete?

My dad has been married three times and divorced twice. I've never been married, but feel like I've been divorced twice.

I honestly don't know how many times my Grandmother on my mother's side was married; but I know of five. However, I only know of two divorces, because a couple of her husbands died. She was actually a helluva woman; chain-smoking, hard-drinking, with a loud husky voice. She always wore a dress and had on full makeup, and commanded every room she walked into. She died on a January 2 at the age of 80. Two nights before she had been out partying with her last husband (just a couple blocks from her home) and they got so drunk she said they crawled home because they couldn't walk. Two days later she got up in the morning, poured herself a cup of coffee, and fell to the floor dead. That is the way to go!

Personally, I'm on my first and only wife. No guarantee that we'll last to the end, but it takes too much energy for me to even consider getting married again if we ever divorced.

Wow I can't say I know a ton of people but I'm currently thinking and I can't think of anyone I personally know who's been divorced more then once.

Now I do know of someone who's married and it's pretty much an open secret that she (and I presume her husband as well) sleep around and that most of their children that have been born while they've been married are not his. (The youngest child for example looks partially Hispanic and she and her husband are both very white)

Her (the mother of these children) father (my uncle, by marriage) sexually abused her so that may have something to do with it.

I have a brother who was married and divorced thrice - one who was married twice before he passed, and the rest of us are still on our first wives (42 years for me). I know one guy who's been married 4 times, but that's the most of my personal acquaintances. If something ever happened to my wife I don't think I'd get remarried - it would be interesting to see what life is like on one's own.
