I see this posted in here a lot and I don't get it. Other than not trying to break someone's arm again how do you say he improved or came a long way? He still did numerous dumb and unsportsmanlike things. Iowa had to suspended him for bad behavior and he wasn't allowed to be in the team championship picture because of threatening to kill a lady. His senior year he even tried to go after a teammates parents. Those were hard to watch for me, but he came a long way and will probably be considered one of the biggest accomplishments of the TnT coaching career.
Not sure how closely you followed his career at Iowa. His temperament, sportsmanship, and self control were completely different from when he came as to leaving.I see this posted in here a lot and I don't get it. To add to what @Sett1997 said. He learned valuable life skills while at Iowa. I think it would honestly floor people to know how much time the program put in on ADS and what they taught him. What he knew before he came to Iowa and what he learned here honestly gives him a chance to have a decent life outside of wrestling. You can’t put a price on that.I see this posted in here a lot and I don't get it. Other than not trying to break someone's arm again how do you say he improved or came a long way? The turnaround is actually so amazing he now has J'den Cox type mannerisms with opponents. Concern for them if they appear to be injured, the double humble handshake etc...To add to what @Sett1997 said. He learned valuable life skills while at Iowa. ADS will forever be a favorite for me. You should watch him interact with kids at a camp.
Mr. Wilson wasn’t fond of a menace but I think Denis grew on him towards the end.www.instagram.com
