Who else’s portfolio has taken a big dip after Trump’s win?

If you didn’t go balls deep with your extra cash in bitcoin or bitcoin variants prior to the election when we all knew Trump was going to win, you missed out. The simple among us were going to blow it though the roof and they have. Top tip. Take your gains and get out now if you haven’t. Don’t get greedy.

Anyone have an adult answer?

I captured some gains already.

I still think they’re will be plenty of tomfoolery similar to the spending bill where you just know Elon and crew were shorting positions.

And as somebody who loves to check my portfolio daily combined with a FOMO if I went cash, it’s gonna be a long stretch.

It’s possible that the OP lost money if he made poor investments. There are a number of retailers who aren’t doing well despite the market being up.

Market is way down after Trump’s win. I assume most folk’s portfolios have taken a big hit like mine.
I'm not complaining so far. By my rough estimates, Dow is up 3.5%, S & P is up 4.4%. Those are pretty good run rates if they're sustainable. Wifey (no pic) and my Tesla stock is up over 80% since the election.

Way down is probably exaggerated, but it has dipped a significant amount. My portfolio has dropped $30K in the past month.
Is this serious? I forget who is who and what is tongue in cheek. I have no idea how you would be down unless you are in a particular sector or individual stock. Biden has crushed it for 2 years, then when Trump was elected it went up a shit ton more. I loathe Trump and think he’s a crummy person and leader, but share prices are share prices.

This. I've moved into a quite conservative investment position as a whole the past 2 years. And my total portfolio is up double digits.

Winners in my portfolio since Election Day: Apple, Google, Tesla, Broadcom, and Charles Schwab.
Losers in my portfolio since Election Day: AMD, Exxon, and Dell.

You win some, you lose some. My winners are exceeding my losers for now at least. I will probably sell a portion of my Tesla shares soon. I bought at $180 in June. Never thought it was going to go up as much as it has in the last 7 weeks.

How long do you expect bitcoin to hover around $100k?
