It's interesting because I think the men are at a 7 for most polls and the women a 6.

Rankings, which mean nothing for the selection committees, are very close. Iowa men at #25 and will be probably around 21ish next week. Iowa women at #21 and will be around 19ish next week.

Women have 3 Q1 wins (I think it's only 3?)
Men have 1 Q1 win.

When it's said and done, who gets the better seed and what do you think it will be?

My guess:
Men 7
Women 5

My guess is somehow the Women sneak into a 4 seed and host....

NCAA likes money, and Iowa selling out Sunday's game vs Michigan (and a win in that game) will put Iowa having won 3 games in the last 4 vs. Top 10 teams / Co-BigTen champs.

Now BTT will mean something to, if they make the Championship game they'll be a lock for 4 seed or better.

oh, and then there's this Caitlyn Clark...... she's not to bad of a draw for attendance and TV Ratings.

Duh. Women win the B1G, men might finish 4th if everything breaks perfectly. Not exactly hard to predict.

If Iowa doesn't win again, or maybe only vs NW, #9 might happen, but just two wins will give the Hawks at least a #8 and maybe #7. # 6 is possible, but we probably need 3 or more wins.

Bracket Matrix has Iowa as the second 7 seed. That seems about right, in my opinion.

This goes without saying, but a lot could change between now and selection Sunday. Finishing 3-0 with a strong showing in the BTT could get Iowa into a 4 seed. Going 1-2 and getting bounced in the first BTT game and we could be looking at a 9/10 seed.

I'd put my money on the women. Bigger wins thus far, Big Ten regular season champs, and a star head and shoulders above all others in Clark.
