A bunch of Iowa fans, who are always looking for someone to blame for a loss. They don't understand that their team sometimes loses because the other team plays better AND that athletes sometimes play their best, but sometimes they don't. Many times, the other team's players are the main reason why your players don't play that well. Suck it up, and get behind your team.

You're not wrong.

But Izzo is a close second.

oh please is there should be fine for getting on halftime crying about the referees totally classless act. I can handle losing it happens you're not going to go undefeated in the big ten. Israel is in the referees are all night long whining like a baby and then to get on at half-time and act like a jackass. I have no respect for Tom izzo. Both of these teams are pretty good I think both will win a few games in the NCAA. we got beat by a better team tonight we had a chance to make some open shots and we didn't it happens. Still izzo's in the ass

Ball bounced MSU’s way. An MSU player loses the handle and chucks it up over his head and the ball banks in and Winston has a crucial long 3 go front rim backboard net. Not to mention a traveling call with no contact called a foul on Kreiner.

We had some bounces that went our way as well. Heard an announcer say a ref did tell Izzo to shut up. But it is a mind game getting into these refs heads and Sparty was at home. Still, they have flaws---- And in a game where threes are important just like two's we were missing not one Bohannon, not two Weezy, but three CJ of our best 3 point shooters.

The only positive thing I noticed about Izzo last night is that he's looking older and nearer to death...

I kinda knew Iowa wasnt going to win with about 8 mins left. In order to win on the road, the away team has to be up by like 10-12 points with 2 mins left to have a chance. Cause thats when the 'home court advantage' really kicks in.

I know I watch games through my black and gold lenses so please point out a couple lucky bounces of the ball to make me feel a little better.

Might want to read some of my other posts about Izzo. I agree with you about him, but for fans to be centering blame on one of our best players is short sighted and shows that they know almost nothing about sports. I am really glad that Weesy is a Hawkeye, and I am looking forward to his being an integral part of a great team for the next couple of years.

No basketball coach in the B10, get's away with what Izzo does. No one is a close second. He was clearly over the top last night.....should not be allowed.

That very well may have been a completely different game if you take the Izzo manipulation of the refs out of the equation.

No question, and I don't have any problem with fans bitching about Izzo or the officiating, because Iowa got screwed out of that game. Again, I think it is pathetic that fans are turning on Weesy, which to me, shows just how good of fans they are.

In the 1st half a number of unforced turnovers on Michigan St. part and even in the 2nd half there were. They became very desparate in their half court offense throwing cross court passes to get the ball into their shooters hands.

They had 11 turnovers and we had 13 B. Evelyn (3) Connor McCaffery (0)
Bakari needs to understand his role.

Hmm, I guess I don’t consider throwing the ball away “lucky bounces”. Had Winston’s 3/4 court shot counted I certainly would have considered “lucky” or something like a banked in 3 as “lucky”. The MSU player who blindly chucked it back over his head off the backboard was “lucky”. I may be stretching it a bit on Winston’s 3 but it was a fortunate bounce off rim backboard as you don’t see that happen to often from that distance and angle. I’m LITERALLY talking ball bounces.

My 4 year old daughter whines like crazy. She is nowhere close to Izzo. He's a little bitch.

On a side note, I have to commend the CR Gazette this morning for actually finding a picture of Garza attempting a shot when he didn't have at least two spartans fouling him.
I deleted my taping and wasn't counting, but I would guess that Luka ended up laying on the court at least half a dozen times with no foul called in the second half. They didn't show a replay, but Weesy seemed to be tackled on a drive with no call. I remember one time when one of MSU's guards slammed into JoeT and knocked him backwards a few feet in the backcourt, and Carsteson (sp?) was standing about 10 ft away watching. That is just a small sample in the second half.

On the other hand, Kriener got called for at least two fouls that were solely "make up calls", where there was no contact. When playing MSU, they should just call them "let's please the little Italian troll, so he shuts up." I think Riley Till's foul calls in about 10 sec were for being too timid...
