I think Chris Bono would be a good choice for them. Maybe Varner?
I do think we can solve this better than the ISU administration and ISU fans...like for real. So...
Bono-Can the prodigal son return? I hear there is some straight up heartburn on his part. Plus, short pissed off guys rule
Varner-Great qualifications as a wrestler but can he coach?
Perry-Obligatory Mark Perry mention...required in every potential coaching hire thread
Terry-Not on your f-ing life but it would make sense in a cosmic way. Brands Bros rule the state of Iowa, different conference and could pull cool tricks. Terry can show up as Tom to a recruit's house and act like a total jackass...take credit for being the "calm" one in the corner while Tom is the one always jumping around trying to start fights. Claim Iowa admin got he and Tom mixed up...hired Tom instead. Star of Flo documentary and between the two, has more starpower
Any PSU Assistant including the Video Girl-Learned at the hands of the the coaching guru and have mastered the ways of the force, dodgeball, NLWC slush fund/money laundering schemes, recruiting/developing Top 100 grinders into NCAA champs. Note: This also includes David Taylor.
Kyle Dake: Because he found out David Taylor wanted the job. Play them against each other for some comedy gold. "But David, you never beat him." "Taylor has a shoe deal with Adidas, you have one with Brute. Come on Kyle, who wears Brute anymore?"
Minnesota Assistants (all 20 of them): Because they are multitaskers who can run various properties, know how to keep their mouth shut while under investigation and claim "I didn't know", and still run a wrestling team that will finish higher than ISU
Kevin Dresser: Because he severely wants to get into Carver and to attempt to stick it to Iowa. Also a big proponent of Vitamin C so ISU wrestlers won't be dropping like flies out of the line up for various illnesses
Jordan Burroughs: Hiring a charismatic, Olympic champion with almost no coaching experience? What could go wrong? (I actually think this would be a real good hire, just don't think he is done yet)
