Close game. Mike G dribbles off foot and out of bounds with 7 seconds left. 2016 wins.

Both teams get Jok. He guards himself and goes off for 50.
15-16 Iowa goes up big in the first half. It's what they do, and it's 16-17's biggest weakness.
16-17 makes adjustments and comes back from a 10+ point deficit early in the second half...
Gesell/Clemmons stop the non-existent dribble penetration of Bohannon.
Bohannon can't stop Gesell from getting to the rim, but Gesell never finishes there.
Uthoff realizes no one can guard him and goes off for 30 in the first half... then inexplicably stops trying to shoot or score. This is equalized by Senior Jok not taking a shot in the first half for some reason, before realizing that Junior Jok was guarding him and he could score at will.
Cook has more trouble backing down Woodbury than he expected, but is smart enough to back him down and then dump off to Pemsl for easy layups.
Soph Dom Uhl hits a three over Junior Dom Uhl, who had forgotten that he used to be able to do that.
Both Baers guard each other with enough zeal that they each have to be taken to the hospital after the game Delladova style.
In the end, with the score tied at 82, both Frans go ballistic on the refs after a double foul is called. The resulting meltdown is so bad that TV Teddy stops the game right where it is.

Pemsl and Cook get Woody in foul trouble. Baer & Wagner combo makes Uthoff work harder than usual to score. Bohannon is just a better basketball player than Gesell, unless Mike has one of those rare-ish games where he confidently shot the ball (those were good games!).

Funny we were posting at the same time and had basically the same thought about Jok.
