Turnout is always pretty low for these off year election days with no national and few if any state level issues on the ballot. Still many county and city issues and council seats may actually have a bigger impact on the futures of the cities and counties where we all live. I encourage everyone to go out and vote today. Let your voices be heard HROT!

I'll probably vote on the marijuana issue here in Ohio. Still trying to decide which way to vote.

Cedar Rapids: 2 at-large council seats, and the library levy. District 2 (Scott Overland's running unopposed) and District 4 (Scott Olson the incumbent is being challenged by Lisa Kuzela) have council seats on the ballot, but I'm in District 1.

I'll vote later today.
