From an Illini fan: who cares? It's the NIT.

Anyway, it's Champaign. And I think the SFC regularly books events during this time under the assumption we'll be in the NCAA Tournament ... hopefully that becomes logical soon!! LOL

In the current era of the B1G, that statement is hilarious (which I get you intended it to be). Although I must say it's not quite as funny as if a similar assumption was made about the Illini football team doing bowl prep in December, but pretty dawg gone close.
