The sordid details of Bill O'Reilly's divorce and custody hearings have come out. Bill lost custody of his children by their request. Allegations of philandering and spousal abuse abound, yet Fox doesn't say a word about the man who on a nightly basis lectures Americans on the evils of poor child rearing by ethnics and poors. Not a word about the man who drug his wife around by her throat, but lectures America about how absentee fathers led to the violence of Ferguson or Baltimore.
Generally when your own kids don't want to be with you that means something bad about your parenting.

I am just curious, do you believe everything you see on TV and everything a politician tells you?

I like his show but all you need to do is watch that Inside Edition clip to know the dude has some serious anger issues.

He's an angry guy. I'm sure Greta and Babs will be all over this story.

Not a fan of Bill, but why is his divorce and his relationship with his kids anyone's business? Sure it makes for great gossip and ammo for his detractors, but why would a company release a story about the failings of one of their own?

Does your company issue a press release when they find out dirt about their employees?

It's our business because he thinks he is allowed to talk down to the rest of us. Like his marriage and parenting skills are something we should be trying to mirroring. In reality he's a bigger shit stain than any person he's talked down to when it comes to proper marriage and child raising skills. Guys a Grade A POS.

Did Fox News issue anything? The link in the OP from The Independent not Fox News. It was first reported by Gawker and was probably obtained legally from public records. I didn't see anything on Fox News. Can you provide a link?

As mentioned O'Reilly is a national figure who has a stage on which he criticizes others for poor parenting. That makes him someone whose private life is public fodder.
I am not a public figure, and I only lecture people on this small, anonymous stage. I also haven't assaulted my wife or tried to twist my children against my wife.

Not sure how Fox News could/should report it. Would they report it if it were an anchor for another network? They haven't in the past.

So he's a celebrity and a hypocrite, that's not news. Moreover, if you're getting your parenting tips from a large angry man on TV that yells and talks over people, you're doing it wrong. Doesn't take much to figure out he probably isn't someone most women would want to wake up next to in the morning.

He was suggesting that Fox should report on it, I was asking why should Fox report on it.

If you're getting your parenting tips from a large angry man on TV that yells and talks over people, you're doing it wrong. Hypocrisy isn't illegal.

Nobody is taking parenting tips from him. But he's allowed to have "nightly basis lectures Americans on the evils of poor child rearing by ethnics and poors" and he for some reason thinks he gets to "lecture America about how absentee fathers led to the violence of Ferguson or Baltimore." The guy is a POS and his family wants nothing to do with him. So anything bad his kids do now hopefully he blames himself for being a shitty absent father.

He was suggesting that Fox should report on it, I was asking why should Fox report on it.

He's asking from a pure hypocrisy standpoint. He didn't really expect Fox to report it. Fox does allow BOR to sit on his show and lecture us about being a good parent and husband when it appears he isn't anything close to either of those. Do you support spousal abuse?

Mr O'Reilly flunked his "Anger Management" Class.
His ex- wife and children have my sympathy. He is not a
role model for anyone. He is a blathering and bloviating
egotist who currently holds forth on Fox. In the near
future his time will be up on the TV screen and hopefully
he rides off into the sunset.
