Man was that frustrating. Once they were both on their feet, he could have dropped down to a leg and possibly rode him out.

I feel I should clarify a little; I don't have anything against Bo. Actually, prior to his match with Brooks, I was a big fan. I love the way he wrestles, but I don't agree with his tactics tonight nor at the big tens. Additionally, I don't always agree with Gilman's comments.. Either way, I enjoy watching them wrestle, but in my opinion (for what it is worth) college wrestling doesn't need all the extra activity. Maybe it's just me holding wrestlers to a higher standard.

Except turn the corner or shelf it and come up. Have to finish quick on Nolf and Bo or you'll get it like that with their long arms. To be honest, I expected Hall to do it as well because Meyer's head was close to his knee quite a few times.

It looked to me like Brooks was trying to drive up and Nickal just rubber kneed him and was able to get to Brooks' knee. Not many guys are long enough to get to the knee and then spladle from there. Nickel never went for the shin wizzar, so shelving it did not seem like a necessity. Oh well, it was a great meet, but when you lose one match by getting taken down 3 times in the 3rd period and lose 2 matches in the second tie breaker, it is tough to win a dual.

That spladle by Bo was weird, usually you have your leg hooked on the near leg like a merkle position, but he just grabbed the far and trapped Sammys head super tight against his body. Very creative by Bo, probably the most dangerous wrestle in the NCAAs, in terms of being able to pin you/get NF from anywhere.

If Bo was a pitcher, he would be a knuckle baller. Can do a lot from all different positions and doesn't have a lot of fear plus confidence enough to know that he can come back even if he gives up a big point move.
