Why is Sandfort the first guy off the bench? Mccaffery coaching is odd.
I think because that normally would have been Connor but Connor didn’t play. Kris was coming in for Rebraca who was playing really well so he came in later
So glad we have clarification on the injury. For a moment, it seemed obvious that Fran had decided all the negative comments on this forum regarding too much playing time for Connor were correct!!! I am guessing the first thing he does after his post-game presser is read our comments with pencil and paper in hand! Maybe, he even sneaks a peck at halftime...
If Fran is reading these, lol, he needs to play Joe, Ulis, Perkins and the twins.
Those are his five best players.

Rebraca and PMac energy off the bench would be great. JBo could do his thing 10-15 a game w a quick trigger and if hes feeling it, even better. Any Cmac minutes should come at JBo's expense. Start getting Sandfort/JO minutes in spurts.

Sandfort plays the 3 and he can defends the 3 better than PMAC and he defnitely defends better than Bohannon. Sandfort defense is a pleasant surprise..plus he he can go left and use his left hand to finish. He needs to make shots. He was too giddy to take a 3pt shot and he was 4-5 feet beyond the arc.
Wish I had the clip of him getting caught looking in the wrong direction and his guy blowing by him for and easy layup
He played pretty well outside of that eighth grade defensive lapse.
And shoot 3-11.
Starters JBo and FalbosMac played 61 minutes combined.

Kris, Sandfort, Perkins, and Ulis all entered the game at the same time, 12:06 mark. First subs in were all four and replaced everyone not named Keegan.
Quite simple, Fran has 2 kids on the team. If he elevates Kris to a starter then Patrick would be lkely the guy he bumps out of starting lineup.
There really isn't a good position fit for Conner...so Fran solved the issue by having him sub for Patrick.
Rebracca had his best game as a Hawk last night....but for the most part is not suited to guard the the more physical and bigger Big10 guys that overwhelm him. Unfortunately, the Hawks have no real big physcial guy to play inside...Ogundle has the body, but seems to be lacking motor skills.
and then of course Perkins is better than Bohannon. So is Uhls.
Starting lineup as said many other times should be:
The Murrays
Perkins
Joe T.
Rebracca (only because he's better option than Patrick inside defensively)
He needs Kris off the bench or he wouldn't have any production from the bench players he could count on.
He should be getting double PMac's minutes, not half. It's a travesty.
If you think Patrick would suck that bad coming off the bench then why is he starting? Oh yeah, Fran has 2 sons on the team as Star just pointed out and them not having their feelings hurt is as big of a priority as anything. It's garbage but BAU at Nepotism U
I guess if Connor is so critical he should probably sit out as many as necessary so he can be ready for the final push
