Welp. We're officially at the point where Noethwestern is beating us at offensive skill player portal pick ups.
Iowa WRs had a total of 77 catches this fall. Wilde had 70 all by himself at SDSU. Why would he want to play in Iowa's offense?
It’s not like NW had receivers lighting it up… I can see ISU or Illinois but NW…

I don't know. Maybe he wants a NW degree. FWIW NW's top receiver caught 59 balls this year. Iowa WRs caught 70 total between them all. Still looks like a place where he'd get the ball thrown to him a lot more.
Maybe he’s tipping his cap regarding a new qb at NW?

70 receptions in 13 games for Iowa WRs sound like a cruel "trick or treat" statistic.

Their is a former SDSU coach on the Northwestern staff, thus the connection.
And that 70 catches puts them tied for 33rd among D1 individual pass catchers(4 TEs were ahead of them as well as multiple wrs). 'clones had 2 wrs who each bettered their total as a unit.
It is laughable how bad the passing O and wr unit has been at Iowa for multiple seasons.
Northwestern has a worse offense than we do, and is an objectively worse program. Leave it to a Husker like you to not know ball.
