Seems like it would somehow have to become a reality if we are evert serious about deep space exploration.
Do you think we see it in the next 100 years?

Barkley is a player dawg!Maybe? I see drone/rocket creation getting more sophisticated before we learn how to keep people semi-alive for an undefined amount of time. With camera technology and robot technology also becoming more sophisticated, those things will move faster than humans.
Regardless, how about Saquon F'ing Barkley!! What a madman!! This year feels different (if they can stay healthy) Fly 🦅 Fly!

In the next hundred years if we’re still around we will likely be living underground in silos. I’m afraid our future is more dystopian than anything.
If you are going to troll could you at least be original for once? I bet 1/2 the people that have you on ignore do so because you are so damned tiresome.Only if the Democrats drag us into WW3 the way they dragged us into WW2 and WW1.
Why not? We already have medicinally/medically induced coma's. How about we string it out for a few years or more and see what happens?
That's not really cryosleep though since the "cryo" implies freezing. Basically preventing aging. Why not? We already have medicinally/medically induced coma's. How about we string it out for a few years or more and see what happens?
I know, but I was thinking more along the lines of space travel. If we can induce coma's, I would think scientists would be able to use the same kinds of theories for extended "sleep".That's not really cryosleep though since the "cryo" implies freezing. Basically preventing aging.
Because it's one thing to freeze cells. I have plenty from people who are long dead. Much tougher to do tissues and organ systems, even for long term sleep. Circulation is a bitch. Why not? "Project Hail Mary" uses this. It also demonstrates a big negative to using this method. If you haven't read the book I highly recommend it, it's written by the same author as "The Martian". It will also be a movie that's coming out next year I believe.I know, but I was thinking more along the lines of space travel.
