Will hawk men fill Wells Fargo Arena tomorrow ahead of women's game?

When was this doubleheader scheduled? Is it usual for the men's team to lead off a men's and women's event like this?

The Clark effect.
It has to be, by far, the cheapest ticket to watch the iowa women play this year, outside maybe whatever Florida tournament they’ve already had. Men’s team dragging down the event??

Absolutely.

Amazing how much fan interest has dissipated in the men's team. Pathetic as it's easily remedied.

The lesser team always play first.

I guess if you have a coveted women's ticket, you might come early to watch the men play. The second half.

At least the popcorn and ice cream will be fresh.

We will be in Des Moines tomorrow, but unfortunately not going to the game. Going to visit my wife's sister who is in the latter stage of cancer. ☹️ Though it would be fun to go watch the women play. The men's game, I am pretty meh about.
As a cancer survivor I know it's a terrible thing to go through for everybody involved.

Godspeed for your wife's sister

I think it's 2 games for 1 ticket so hopefully the women's fans will show up for the men's game as well

I pay little attention to men's basketball anymore. There is much goings-on on the women's side that will affect Iowa's position tourney time. And Caitlin's remarkable stats are, well, remarkable.

Quit comparing the two teams.

Or, you know what, let's have them play an exhibition. We can use the women's 10:00 quarters.

Caitlin Clark wouldn't score 10 points if it was played straight up. The men would win by 50+

My point: let the men's team be the men's team, let the women's team be the women's team.

We have tickets and will likely show up during the second half of the men's game. Have a babysitter so we're going to take advantage of being able to leave the house for a bit and not have to sit through whatever that is that takes the court for the men.

Huh? this makes no sense

We keep trying to make comparisons to these two teams. There is no comparison to the actual basketball playing. The men would destroy the women in a game versus one another.

But if you want to compare the product that is on the court, and what they are bringing to the people of Iowa right now, there is no comparison. the women's team outshines the men 20 fold.

I don't think anyone was comparing men vs women in a game, just that it's usually always the men's game as the "feature" of a doubleheader.
