Thanks OP, that reminds me I need to get a new bucket/boonie hat for my summer daily wear when I'm working and playing outside. I had an old straw boonie for many years, but like all straw hats, they eventually fail and tear. I'll occasionally wear a baseball cap but I really prefer a wide rimmed boonie that keeps the sun off my face and neck, and a strap is nice to keep it from flying off my noggin while fishing.

I got a sweet Hawkeye logo one with the underchin strap.

My wife says I look absurd in it.

I don't care.
