He is faster than Hankins and OjMcSorely will have a field day with this young lad.
He’s simply not fast or athletic enough.

This is correct. He has a greater ability to learn from a mistake and move forward with confidence than any athlete I've ever been around.
Had 3rd fastest time for 110 hurdles as a senior in HS. Plenty of speed. He might as well paint a giant target on his jersey. I hope it backfires but the Nitts will try to exploit Moss' inexperience early and often.
In Stress, $ has 2 and 3 vertical with no help from the FS. In Cloud, the CB in the boundary has flat to 22 yds (under a smash) and 2nd contain on run. In a Sky call, the FS runs the alley to fit outside in C gap and the CB is basically matched. For those that are curious, this is close to what our 1/4's coverage looks like. The weak side corner is always in man, and the SS (they have him as DS) has run support. If I remember correctly, if it's a 'sky' call, the DE is the force player and if it is a 'cloud' call, the SS is the force player to the weak side.

You can’t even spell the name of your 3 year starting QB correctly?
Thanks for sharing that. Good info.In Stress, $ has 2 and 3 vertical with no help from the FS. In Cloud, the CB in the boundary has flat to 22 yds (under a smash) and 2nd contain on run. In a Sky call, the FS runs the alley to fit outside in C gap and the CB is basically matched.
This look is a keys sprint out for some teams. If so, they sometimes send a Mickey off the edge to cut it off/force the ball out, slant the 2, 3, and 7 to the field, float the FS to B gap and make the CB contain.
What numbers do the players wear that don't have potential? I didn't know it worked like that. I learn something everyday. The coaches brought Riley in to play safety and he’s shown he can play dB right now when the team has needed it. He wouldn’t be wearing 33 if he didn’t have potential. Would be fun if he ends up being like like Jewell a 2 star taken from fcs and becomes an Iowa mainstay.
That’s because he’s a clone fan pretending to be a pedo fan.You can’t even spell the name of your 3 year starting QB correctly?

I'm more worried about our safeties getting sucked in because of McSorley being a rushing threat.

This is how they ran vs 3x1 a few years ago. I sometimes do things a little differently based on opponent tendencies and my personnel, and play a 6 instead of a 7.Thanks for sharing that. Good info.
Is that how Iowa runs it, or how you run it? That's not how we ran it. Everyone's terminology is a little different and their assignments are a little different. We ran it different because of our personal and we always liked to simplify.
I was trying to give some people a basic idea of how our corners get on an island at times. I'm not going to attempt to out X and O people.
Just to note for Hawk fans, as you might be unaware.
Our WRs currently lead the nation in dropped passes. I recently read a stat that 20% of McSorley's incompletions have been drops. McSorley has actually had a solid/efficient arm this year, but our WRs have let us down on too many occasions to count at this point. If I were an Iowa fan, I'd be less worried about allowing production from PSU passing attack than if Sanders/McSorley find consistency on the ground. But it seems like you guys like your front seven? Should be an interesting matchup.
To be honest I'm more worried, or rather don't want to see, Iowa get gashed when he scrambles.Just to note for Hawk fans, as you might be unaware.
