How serious is the injury he had to his throwing hand?

I'm guessing it couldn't be toooo serious considering his performance actually improved after the injury. But you never really know, sometimes it takes a couple hours for swelling to really set in after something like that. I think he'll be fine though.

Good question OP, if he has a broken or dislocated thumb that might and I say MIGHT very generously... he could be sidelined for the Purdue game and give Mansell the nod.. just a possibility.. I think Nate has something to prove and he’s going to come back and show what he’s made of and show why he had 6 TD’s in one game.. one game doesn’t make him the worst QB ever but of course he needs to pick it up like 10 notches and just go out and have fun.. when he’s loose he’s better as I think he thinks too much about throwing an INT .. or turning it over and that’s what is exactly has happened.. right the ship Nate! “YOU CAN DO IT”!
