Will The Cyclones wear…

ISU wearing black and white unis is a simple admission that its football program has no tradition. Nothing more, nothing less. But hey, black and white may be the new cardinal and gold, although not according to ISU's own website: https://www.brandmarketing.iastate.edu/brand-elements/color-palette/

Here's a quote from that ISU website: "The Iowa State University customized color palette reflects the clarity and depth of our values, and it is deeply rooted in the university’s land-grant mission. Consistent and appropriate use of these colors will create a strong and consistent visual presence for the university. This established system of colors for brand communications ties all the colleges, institutes, centers and units of our university together."

Ooops. I guess Campbell and Co. didn't get the memo.

You don’t find it a bit humorous? Imagine the shitstorm if Iowa wore red alternate uniforms.
I guess I don’t find it anything. It’s just their latest thing. Didn’t they try blue a few years ago? They apparently have no idea who the hell they are.

I will say I don’t understand them constantly not wearing their school colors. Can they not find some cool versions of their current school colors? Makes no sense.

Pretty much the way I've seen it. I've also speculated that Campbell simply doesn't like the native colors while also trying to instill a winning mentality at all costs. I get it but I'd personally be offended if this was done at Iowa. I think there would be a lot of backlash here. Since ISU fans don't seem to care much, it must be fine. I just can't fathom being okay with it. Seems like admitting your school was an afterthought before and is trying to create an identity.

I laugh about it though and make fun when speaking to my Cyclone friends. They truly don't get why I find it so funny.

It doesn't matter to me at all. Wear whatever you want. Big Stage college football is entertainment. It's not like you need to pump up school spirit by wearing your official colors every stinkin' time.

Half the fanbase lost their f***ing minds because they were too f***ing stupid to recognize that we were doing a card scheme during a game against Wisconsin some years ago and they cried all across social media for having red and white cards along with the blue cards because ya know, the American f***ing flag just so happens to have two of the same colors as Wisconsin.

So yes, there absolutely would be a shit storm if Iowa came out with red and white alt uniforms.

I don’t remember fans giving shit about a car stunt, I do remember giving the athletic department shit for passing out red Pom poms when playing Wisconsin.

their school colors tomorrow or will they wear their Hawkeye wanna be uniforms?
What surprisse me is they are not trimmed in yeller. Their colors are katchup and yeller. at least use the yeller. Then they look just like big bro.

I personally don’t care what color they wear and I wouldn’t care what color Iowa wears. It’s been nice to be able to watch the state of Iowa represented on this day four of the past five years.
