Will the Left Take Over in Spain?

Some chatter in the news suggesting that Podemos and the Socialists may form a coalition government in Spain. This is a rough patch in Europe for them to do so, because they risk getting blamed for the bad economy they will inherit. Otherwise (unless you are a Catalonian separatist) this would be interesting to see.

Could Spain's lefties pull off an Iceland-style recovery?

I thought they lost last time because the economy was so bad.

I haven't followed Spain too much, but hasn't the economy gotten a bit better?
